So fantastic! I found Mamma's because of the SB 150. We bought some goat gouda and some seasoned chevre. Fantastic. I went back this past weekend and bought some fantastic Apricot Wensleydale. I mean, amazing. They also had some lovely little pies. I tried the lemon and the strawberry. Both delicious, but the strawberry had a delightfully fresh flavor. I plan on coming back many, many times.

Family owned and operated. Try the feta, chevre, and house made giardiniera. Super affordable paninis for lunch. Some of their cheeses are featured on the menu @ The Crooked Ewe Brewery across the river.

My first visit. Had a ham and cheese sandwich with an olive spread. Delicious. The sandwich seemed very reasonably priced (I think it was just $6). This beats eating at Subway. I also got some crackers and goat cheeses to go. The place looks small from the outside but it does have five or so tables for dining in.

Excellent find through Yelp. Stopped here on a recent road trip and was greeted by a friendly employee. Mamma's is a small Italian deli with some great selections of meat, cheese, and bread. They've also got olive/tapenade/cheese samples out. I had their special 3 meat sandwich, hot pressed, on some fresh Italian bread, with the eggplant tapenade. So good, a truly magical sandwich. Topped it off with a cannoli, could have eaten an infinite amount of these.

When service and quality meet it is a rare and beautiful thing. I will be stopping here each and every time I am in South Bend for all the meats, cheeses, and goodies my pantry can hold!

Absolutely love this foodie find! I've been a regular at Oh Mamma's location at the Farmer's Market so I was excited when they opened a stand alone shop next door to the market on Mishawaka Ave. They feature a wide variety of cheeses, meats and salads. Prices are all very reasonable! They offer several fresh made panini's each day and will grill to order (no butter, extra butter, etc). I especially love the three meat and cheese with the mufaletta salad, pressed with no butter - a huge sandwich for just $5. I highly recommend stopping by!

In love with this shop! Amazing goat cheese and italian sandwiches! I suggest stopping by here for some meat and cheeses that will truly impress your guests at your tailgate, game day party, etc.

It's hard to believe that South Bend has its own cheese shop, but we are fortunate enough to have Oh Mamma's outside of the Farmer's Market. The staff is incredibly friendly and the cheese inventory is outstanding. It's joy to shop here and see this place thrive during its first year.

So glad I stopped in. I pass by their store every day to and from work and I finally stopped in today. My coworker said she had lunch there last week and that their Italian panini sandwiches were really good. I ordered the signature Italian panini which came with three meats and cheese. I'll have to ask next time what exactly was in it. It would be considered a spicy sandwich to those who have mild taste. I didn't mind one bit. I randomly chose pickled eggplant for a topping (there were other choices like artichoke and sun-dried tomatoes). I got a half order which came out to about $3. The sandwich was so delicious! I am definitely going back. I am also interested in getting a smaller version of one of their meat and cheese trays just to sample what they have. There is also a little fridge in the corner that carries other items like lasagna and meatballs. I would recommend stopping in. The quality is great, the price is reasonable, and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

I love this place. I am a foodie. The folks are super friendly, and carry all kinds of meats and cheeses you can find nowhere else in the area. Their homestead goat cheese is excellent, and the various Italian salads are very, very good. Outstanding Parmesan Reggiano and Parma prosciutto. Don't miss it.

This storefront version of the Farmer's Market "Oh Mamma's" opened in April or May, 2013, I gather. I visited it for the first time today. It is so close to the Farmer's Market that Google Maps will hardly make it clear: it's on the corner of Beyer Ave. and Mishawaka Ave. where that funky wooden sculpture (Native American?) stands. Close enough to Bamber's, another great place, that I'm supposing no love will be lost between them. Because together they are the best Italian shops around. While the excellent Bambers is larger than Oh Mamma's, has wines, fresh meats, etc., and is overall more extensive in its vinegars, olive oils, etc., I'm excited to see this storefront version of Oh Mamma's, because I've loved it for years at the Farmer's Market but hated dealing with the crowds and hassle on Saturdays there. Here, you can get what they're great at anytime in the weekdays: specialty cured meats (try to find guanciale elsewhere), a remarkable array of cheeses, their fresh mozzarellas, very solid breads, some proprietary goat cheese that's quite fine, and more. There is a small sit-down space for people who want some of their great sandwiches on the spot. There's a facebook page: facebook.com/OhMamma
